8 december 2023 - Velikiy Novgorod, Bolschaya Sankt-Peterburgskaya street. I was in Veliky Novgorod for only 3.5 hours, and I arrived there around lunchtime.
Therefore, unfortunately, there will be few photos.
I really wanted to photograph at least one of the remaining Skoda 14Tr, but, unfortunately, none of them appeared.
It’s sad, of course, but at least the former exhibition LiAZ was removed...
It’s just that, on the other hand, I had great hope for Skoda, I only drove Skoda in 2015 in Crimea, but I didn’t take any photos, videos or audio then.
There are no more such trolleybuses left anywhere in Russia, and most of all the so-called. "Fours" are used only in the capital of Lithuania, Vilnius, where, due to well-known reasons, it is now impossible to get a visa.
And on the day of my visit, mainly VMZ Leaders, Megacities and Ivanovo ZiUshki traveled here... :(
On the one hand, I was very pleased with the large number of large buses, incl. triaxial and articulated, in such a relatively small (but also rather large) city - the population is about 220 thousand people, and this despite its serious age (the first mention of the city dates back to the 859th year of Christ) and a huge, very rich history, in while neighboring St. Petersburg was founded only 320 years ago, and already has a population of 5 million.
By the way, which is very symbolic, both cities were capitals, but at the same time they are very different and beautiful in their own way. :)
But on the other hand, online tracking services for buses and trolleybuses do not work well in Veliky Novgorod: not all transport is displayed in Yandex maps, and therefore you have to look for schedules on the Internet, and Bastime and Smart Transport do not work here at all.
I couldn’t leave the station for about half an hour: I missed a couple of buses, but at least I managed to catch a trolleybus. :)))
But on Bolshaya St. Petersburgskaya there is frequent transport, which, of course, is convenient for passengers.
As I already wrote above, there was very little time for walking around Veliky Novgorod, so, unfortunately, I didn’t manage to go to the Kremlin, so if I come here again, I’ll definitely go to the Kremlin. ;)
