1992 - La Habana, Cuba. In the "good old days" of communism the main vehicle of the public transport company in Havana were these ikarus 280 buses, put together there by a company called Girón and labelled as Girón XVI or something similar. Such a specimen just arrived at a bus stop where, as in all communist countries, there are more people willing to board than the bus can take. Today, the main vehicles in Havana are buses donated from Seville, and the `camelos`, i.e. articulated lorries with bus-like trailers.
