Out of curiosity - how hard would it be for BKK to make the operators use some sort of four-digit fleet numbers instead of number plates as bus IDs?
BTW, Authority = BKK, Route = 25.
In Hungary, it`s ordinary to use the registration plate as fleet number - maybe it is easier that one bus has only one number.
I`m sorry, I forgot to fill these out, I`m doing it immediately. Although the authority is not BKK, it`s BKV. BKK has no buses, it only makes the timetables, routes, and order the service from BKV, VT-Transman and Kontakt-Busz.
Well, nothing against the plate number, but it would seem easier for, for example, passengers who want to file in a complaint or something like that. Or maybe it`s just force of habit.
No, under the system here BKK is the Authority - it creates the timetables and orders the service in BKV/VT/K-B and that`s what`s considered the authority over here. BKV is the Operator, and that`s outlined as the owner Like in Warsaw - you`ve MZA (the equivalent of BKV), Mobilis, ITS, PKS Grodzisk Maz., TW, Metro W. and SKM operating all the services, but they are still all tagged as ZTM Warszawa in the Authority field
