I think in Gyor and Szeged are busses in much better condition scraped then here. Why BKV doestnt replace demilished own 260 with 260 from Tisza or Kisoföld Volan? It would be cheaper then rebuildings.
You`re absolutely right. Last time, in 2010 BKV bought 8 Ikarus 260.30M and 5 Ikarus 263 from Hajdú Volán. Although they wanted to buy some Ikarus 280 from Hajdú Volán and Tisza Volán as well, instead of these they bought low-floor cars from Germany and Netherlands. It would be logical to buy some Ikaruses in good condition much more cheaper than low-floor buses, but BKK and the local government hate Ikarus buses and don`t let BKV buy this kind of "old" buses. That is the sad truth...
