What do you think will be "highest" category? You forgot, that this is not Poland.
I know that you don`t have new articuladet buses on Vilnius. Higher category in my opinion will be Volvo 7000A, MAN NG313 and Neoplan N4421 buses - at least they were built after 2000 and they have a low floor at all doors
Well 53 isn`t something very important that it needs to be serviced by the newest buses. In Vilnius, everything works everywhere. You shouldn`t expect to see a lot of NG313 because only few of them are "in condition" due to constant technical problems and expired CNG tanks which need replacement.
na linii 53 (dane z roku 2014) pojawia się 13 brygad, w tym 5 szczytowych, pozostałe 8 to tzw całodzienne (w tym 2 oznakowane jako niskopodłogowe). Ponadto ja zakażdym razem na 53 w rozkładzie roboczym spotykałem wyłącznie tabor przegubowy
Since winter of last year, now it is common thing to see short bus on 53. But that means that 1/3 passengers become "passengers of the next bus".
