29 szeptember 2008 - Sibiu (RO) – depou/zajezdnia. The last two remaining trolleybus lines in Sibiu closed last weekend and were replaced by buses. The only electric transport that now survives iin this part of Romania is the Rasinari tram and a few trolleys in the nearby city of Medias. I guess that all the old Swiss trolleybuses that came to Sibiu will now be scrapped. Farewell.

30 szeptember 2008 - Sibiu, Romania – Calea Dumbravii. A trolleybus on Line T1 passes the Rasinari tram. This happens very rarely – the tram is not in service, but running (backwards, with a trailer!) to the depot along the gutter-running street track. The single tram that operates the Rasinari line normally stays out at the Cemetery loop when not being used and doesn’t go back to the depot. Local people know this and park their cars on the track all day!
