This was a good chance for us all to test our tram driving skills, complete with Egyptian passengers. 19 február 2010 - Alexandria, Abo El Dardaa street. On a quiet Friday morning (it's a holiday in Islam after all) an ex-Copenhagen Duewag runs into the centre to find a group of European tourists at the terminus, who are clicking pictures wildly like the Japanese on speed :) Since one of these tourists happened to be the head of the Danish Tram Museum in Skjoldenaesholm (a local celebrity), once we entered the vehicle we were treated to a quick lesson in driving for the second time in Egypt. The lesson would have been more interesting though, had it not been for the nervous driver, who did not let us go beyond the series notches...Alexandria, Abo El Dardaa street. An einen ruhigen Freitagmorgen (es ist ja schliesslich Feiertag fuer Mosleme), faehrt ein ex-Kopenhagener Duewag in die Endstelle ein. Ploetzlich wurde er von einer Gruppe Europaeischer Touristen umrundet, die Bilder so wild schnappen wie Japaner auf Speed :) Da einer der Touristen der Chef des Strassenbahnmuseums Skjoldenaesholm war, wurden wir von den Fahrer zu einer Fahrschule eingeladen. Es war nett, allerdings war er zu nervoes um uns weiter als die Reihenschaltungen fahren zu lassen...Aleksandria, ul. Abo El Dardaa. W cichy piątkowy (wszak to dzień wolny w Islamie) poranek ex-kopenhaski helmut zastaje przy krańcówce grupę dzikich europejskich turystów trzaskających mu zdjęcia niczym Japończycy na speedzie :) Jako, że jednym z tych turystów był dobrze w Aleksandrii znany dyrektor Duńskiego Muzeum Tramwajów w Skjoldenaesholm, po wejściu na pokład zostaliśmy drugi już raz w Egipcie uraczeni szybkim kursem obsługi tramwajów. W sumie ciekawie by się go prowadziło gdyby nie nerwowy motorniczy nie pozwalający nam iść dalej niż styki szeregowe… Szerző: straphan
