19 február 2010 - Alexandria, Karmuz terminus. And so we made it to the tram loop, next door to one of the three tram depots in Alexandria. The attitude of the staff towards us couldn't be more different than in Cairo - seeing the Danish guys they immediately bade us welcome, invited us for tea, and showed us around the whole depot. Oh, and all they wanted in return were keyrings from Skjoldenaesholm. If you would thus like to walk around the tram depots in Alexandria, I suggest investing a bit of money in producing keyrings with Duewags - satisfaction is guaranteed :)Aleksandria, pętla Karmuz. I tak oto dojechaliśmy sobie do pętli Karmuz, gdzie znajduje się też jedna z trzech zajezdni tramwajowych w mieście. Stosunek obsługi zajezdni do nas był diametralnie inny w porównaniu do Kairu – widząc obecność Duńczyków natychmiast się wylewnie witali, zapraszali na herbatę i oprowadzali po całej hali. Oraz domagali się „haraczu” w postaci firmowych breloczków muzeum w Skjoldenaesholm. Jeśli więc chcielibyście kiedykolwiek dostać się na zajezdnię w Aleksandrii, proponuję zainwestować trochę grosza w produkcję breloczków z helmutami – sukces gwarantowany! :)Alexandria, Karmuz terminus. Und so sind wir zur Endstelle gefahren, wo sich auch einer der drei Betriebshoefe befindet. Das Benehmen der Leute gegenueber uns war in Alexandria total anders als in Kairo. Als sie die Daenen gesehen haben, hiessen wir auf einmal wilkommen, wir wurden zum Tee gebeten und konnten sich alles anschauen. Ach ja, und alles was sie dafuer wollten waren diese Schluesselanhaenger aus Skjoldenaesholm. Also wenn ihr ins Betriebshof in Alexandria herein wolltet, nimmt Euch ein paar Schluesselanhaenger mit Duewags drauf - es wird sich bestimmt lohnen :) Szerző: straphan
