5 augusztus 1985 - Blackpool, Lancashire, UK – Blundell Street. One of the most advanced trams built in the UK was this ‘Coronation’ Class placed in service by Glasgow Corporation in 1948. Now owned by the National Tramway Museum, preserved car 1297 ran for a time in normal passenger service in Blackpool.

5 augusztus 1985 - Blackpool, Lancashire, UK – Blundell Street. Another view of the Glasgow ‘Coronation’ tram when running in Blackpool. I explained yesterday that Glasgow trams were painted in route colours – this one (obviously) ran on the green group of routes. Lines and colours were carefully arranged so that trams with the same colour didn’t travel on different routes along the same streets.

5 május 2006 - NTM Crich. Widok na zajezdnię (przepraszam, że pod słońce). Większość zabudowań (poza halą warsztatów), a także torowiska i sieć trakcyjna, zostały przeniesione z miast w Wielkiej Brytanii, w których w latach 50. i 60. zamykano sieci tramwajowe. Zajezdnia podzielona jest na 5 części: po lewej stronie od zdjęcia znajdują się warsztaty, na zdjęciu widać szopę dla wagonów sprawnych oraz przesuwnicę (po prawej), która pozwala przestawić tramwaje i wózki do dwóch hal wystawowych (część 3 i 4), a także „śmieciarni” (placu z jednym torem i różnymi częściami). Na torach stoją od lewej: doczepka wieżowa zbudowana w tutejszych warsztatach, Reko TZ69 ex-Berlin, 337 ex-Sunderland exex-Metropolitan Electric Tramways 337, Leeds 339, Chesterfield 7, Sheffield 74 ex-Gateshead exex-Sheffield oraz tytułowy Glasgow Tramways Coronation Class 1297.

9 augusztus 2011 - Crich, UK - National Tramway Museum: Continuing my theme of the more modern trams in the UK national collection, here is #1297, a Glasgow car built in 1927. Advanced for its time, it was constructed in Glasgow City Transport`s own workshops and ran there until the system closed in 1962, the last big city tramway in Britain to do so.
